Hotaru Hinase is a first -year high school student who cherishes her family and friends above all. Unable to understand romance, she decides that she will be happy to live without the experience of falling in love.
While Hotaru spends time in a cafe with her near friend, she witnesses the relentless rupture of a beautiful honor student, Hananoi. Meeting her sitting alone in the snow on the way back, she extends her umbrella to him in a gesture of kindness.
The next day, Hananoi appeared in the Hotaru classroom, asking him to be his girlfriend.
