The story begins with three promises that two roommates make between each other. Hisashi Ootomo and Mao Tsuchiya are second-year students. They have a secret that they will not let anyone know. Mao knew that Hisashi was gay so they would never tell anyone, Hisashi would never show any of these kinda things to Mao. The last one is that they will never break this promise. This becomes very difficult for them when they are both cast in a movie but it is all about boys' romance. Mao never wanted to break his promise and for that, he wanted to leave that movie but later due to the director they had to do that. Mao then knew that he had feelings for his friend Hisashi.
